Job Description
Senior Immigration Attorney leading practice specializing in extraordinary-ability immigration matters for AI-native firm. Responsible for case growth, team leadership, and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and own a practice within Manifest's individual-immigration business — extraordinary-ability and high-skilled matters, including EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A — with full accountability for its growth, quality, and profitability.
- Be the face of your practice: featured in Manifest's content, on socials, in client-facing materials, and in the press. Clients should know your name and choose Manifest because they trust you specifically.
- Build and lead a team of attorneys and paralegals — hiring, developing, and holding your pod to Manifest's quality bar, coaching them through the hardest calls and highest-stakes matters.
- Drive business development for your practice, working with Manifest's marketing and BD engine while building your own network and referral base.
- Use Manifest's AI-powered platform — automated workflows, smart draft review, and a unified case-context hub — as a genuine performance multiplier for your team, not a replacement for your judgment.
- Own the P&L for your practice: case source, team performance, and client satisfaction all roll up to your bottom line.
Requirements:
- J.D. and active U.S. bar admission
- 10+ years of immigration experience with deep expertise in extraordinary-ability and high-skilled categories — EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A — including attorneys who have already built or run their own practice
- A demonstrated track record leading and developing attorneys, not just carrying your own docket
- Comfort with public visibility — thought leadership, social presence, media, and client-facing events
- A professional network and reputation that generates referrals and inbound client trust
- Genuine entrepreneurial ambition: you want to build a practice, not just staff one.
Benefits:
- Higher-agency work | Intake, document collection, status tracking, and client updates run through Manifest OS — the administrative weight of practice, handled. Your day goes to strategy, drafting, and the client: the work that actually requires a lawyer.
- No billable hour | We charge clients flat fees, so there's no timekeeping requirement and no billable target. Your work is judged on outcomes — what gets filed and how clients experience the relationship — not hours recorded.
- Remote by design | The entire legal side of the firm works remotely. It's how the firm was built, and there are no plans to change it — practice from wherever you do your best work.
- Real upside | Pay is competitive from day one, with incentives tied to client outcomes and firm performance, so strong work is rewarded as the practice grows.
- Ground floor | Manifest is an ambitious firm building the infrastructure to last — and to change the way law firms operate. Attorneys who join now grow with it: into senior roles, into leadership, into shaping what the practice becomes next.
- Your experience shapes the practice | Attorney feedback and firsthand case experience directly inform what the firm builds next, so the technology keeps evolving around how the best lawyers actually work.
