Job Description
Fund accounting manager delivering compliant investor reporting and financial statements for Moore TK’s VC and PE clients. Driving automation, quality controls and tax-accounting integration.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate investor reports including IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVP, NAV and carried interest calculations
- Ensure compliance with Invest Europe guidelines and handle ad-hoc enquiries
- Prepare annual financial statements including notes
- Coordinate closely with auditors and monitor quality and timelines
- Conduct risk-oriented reviews of accounting data, reconciliations and valuation checks
- Continuously improve quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to standardize and automate processes
- Support portfolio valuations, waterfall calculations, and reviews of capital calls, distributions and management fee calculations
- Communicate proactively with GPs, LPs and internal operations and technology teams
- Work with the tax team on tax-related matters and maintain consistency between accounting, tax ledger and investor reporting
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting, finance or controlling (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting/administration (alternative investments)
- Experience in integrated setups involving operations, accounting/reporting and tax is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with further standards (e.g., Luxembourg, US) is advantageous
- Audit experience is advantageous
- Practical experience with Invest Europe Guidelines
- Strong command of reporting processes
- High IT affinity
- Experience with fund-reporting software
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Interest in using project management software is a plus
- Analytical, detail-oriented, dynamic and deadline-driven working style
- Eager to learn continuously
- Very good English skills, written and spoken
- Proficiency in German is an advantage
