Job Description
Senior .NET Developer architecting scalable .NET backends, APIs, and cloud pipelines. CodeRoad partners with U.S. companies on product engineering and technology modernization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, performance tuning, and architectural evolution of enterprise-grade backend services using C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+, and ASP.NET Web API
- Design, deploy, and maintain high-throughput RESTful APIs and integration layers
- Architect relational database schemas, optimize complex SQL queries, manage stored procedures, and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed 3-tier architectures
- Refactor legacy systems, reverse-engineer undocumented workflows, and enforce modern software design patterns
- Integrate automated testing and build pipelines into cloud-native environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP, with Git and CI/CD practices
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through constructive code reviews
- Author comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate directly with U.S.-based client stakeholders and engineering teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of dedicated professional backend engineering experience
- Proven track record of architecting scalable distributed backends in high-velocity startup or nearshore software environments
- Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework
- Experience with modern microservices or 3-tier architecture paradigms
- Deep hands-on experience managing SQL databases, including advanced schema design, indexing strategies, complex stored procedures, and query performance tuning
- Strong working knowledge of Git, automated CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platform deployment patterns using AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to navigate complex codebases independently
- Advanced English fluency, written and spoken, is mandatory
