Job Description

Senior People Operations partner running performance, employee relations, and teammate lifecycle programs. Supporting CareMessage’s text-based health-equity platform for low-income populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review open roles before posting to ensure role, level, and budget alignment
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system and improve the candidate and interviewer experience
  • Identify and fix process bottlenecks
  • Coordinate handoffs between the recruiting partner, hiring managers, and People team
  • Partner with managers on performance conversations, calibration preparation, and career framework application
  • Help managers prepare for difficult conversations and develop their own capability
  • Promote career conversations across departments
  • Identify recurring management issues and propose systemic fixes
  • Own the performance review cycle end to end, including timelines, templates, communications, and completion
  • Prepare evidence-based calibration sessions
  • Maintain accurate promotion and performance documentation
  • Report on performance cycle effectiveness
  • Manage employee relations cases from intake through closure with discretion and fairness
  • Escalate issues to People Operations leadership when needed
  • Run onboarding through each new teammate's first 90 days
  • Coordinate onboarding with IT, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
  • Run offboarding and maintain clean administrative processes
  • Support engagement programs, surveys, cultural celebrations, wellness, volunteer days, and benefits utilization
  • Keep lifecycle documentation current and audit-ready
  • Report to the Director of People Operations and work across all departments

Requirements:

  • Held HR business partner or People Ops responsibility at more than one organization
  • Experience with employee relations casework
  • Experience owning programs with timelines, dependencies, and delivery deadlines
  • Experience coaching managers through calibration and difficult conversations
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to identify and address issues early
  • Ability to balance team and organizational needs
  • Commitment to CareMessage's mission
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must confirm that the standardized $116,050 salary aligns with salary expectations
