Job Description
Senior Project Manager working with federal government agencies to deliver enterprise-wide solutions on time and budget. Manage teams and monitor project performance while ensuring effective communication.
Responsibilities:
- Leads efforts to monitor scope, cost, schedule, and performance of a project team, and be responsible for regular interactions with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Develops, coordinate, track, and manages activities of a program team comprised of platform developers, software architects, and business analysts
- Leads a team to refine documented requirements, manage the project schedule, and deliver/customize solutions
- Leads a team to perform software testing and facilitate UAT to validate that solutions are properly scoped, designed, developed, and verified.
- Leads a team to develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for the systems developed
- Drives agile ceremonies and serve as a Scrum Master on software development projects, supporting user story creation, sprint planning, and overseeing the tasks of the development team
- Regularly interfaces with senior management, stakeholders, implementation team members, vendors, and subcontractors to provide insight on project status, business requirements, functional design and remediation of risks/issues
Requirements:
- Active DoD clearance or HSPD-12 Public Trust
- Minimum of ten (10) years managing programs and projects with responsibility of managing scope, schedule, and quality delivering enterprise-wide solutions; preferable Microsoft platform solutions using Dynamics365/Power Platform.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience delivering platform solutions using an agile/DevOps approach and methodology.
- Extensive knowledge of planning, organizing and making recommendations on program milestones, resourcing, and key decision points
- Ability to perform risk assessments to identify, define, and analyze program or project issues in terms of probability and consequences
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team and users using both live and virtual tools (Microsoft Teams, AzureDevOps, GitHub)
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills, exceptional judgment, and ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions
- Experience working for US Federal Government program offices
- Project Management certification (PMI PMP or PMP-ACP) is required
- U.S. Citizen or individual with authorization to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's of Arts or Science degree with a focus on Software Engineering, IT, or Technology
