Job Description
Senior Test Analyst ensuring software quality in agile projects. Responsible for testing planning, execution, and tracking to improve deliverables in a software consulting company.
Responsibilities:
- Work on new projects, system improvements, and maintenance/support of the company's systems.
- Develop test plans including strategy, acceptance criteria, and required resources.
- Create test cases and scenarios, covering positive and negative conditions.
- Execute manual and/or automated tests, ensuring adequate coverage based on impact analysis.
- Design reusable tests when applicable.
- Document and track defects, following up on their resolution with the development team.
- Create and manage test data sets in advance.
- Ensure appropriate use of test environments and tools.
- Prepare test reports, documenting progress and evidence of failures.
- Retest fixed defects.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of deliverables.
Requirements:
- Analyze features and develop test scenarios and steps.
- Map risks and define test coverage.
- Gather and prepare test data sets.
- Proactively identify defects throughout the development cycle.
- Participate in agile teams from the start of planning.
- Report progress and identify impediments.
- Adhere to established practices and standards, including maintaining test documentation.
- Desirable: knowledge of test automation.
- Experience in financial or capitalization environments.
