Job Description
React Frontend Developer responsible for developing and evolving frontend applications. Joining a digital transformation consultancy to ensure consistent and scalable user experiences across critical operational environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve the frontend in React, ensuring a consistent, scalable experience suitable for critical operational environments.
- Implement GDA journeys and modules, such as scheduling, region/hub management, monitoring, and operational tracking, translating product requirements into clear and efficient interfaces.
- Integrate the frontend with backend APIs (Java), ensuring stable contracts, robust error handling, and consistent behavior in unstable scenarios.
- Structure and evolve frontend architecture, including componentization, routing, state management, and form validation.
- Ensure adherence to the design system and UX standards, partnering with Product Designers to maintain visual consistency and reduce operational errors.
- Implement performance best practices, such as lazy loading, bundle optimization, client-side data caching, and reduction of unnecessary re-renders.
- Ensure accessibility and usability, focusing on operational user profiles and productivity improvements.
- Implement frontend observability, including telemetry, logging, and error tracking.
- Contribute to code quality and security through unit and integration tests, linting, and code reviews.
- Document component patterns, critical flows, and technical decisions to guarantee product continuity and evolution.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in frontend development with React.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and building single-page applications (SPAs).
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling frontend error scenarios.
- Knowledge of frontend architecture, including componentization, state management (Redux, Context API or similar), and route organization.
- Experience with performance best practices and web application optimization.
- Knowledge of design systems and UX, with a focus on consistency and usability.
- Experience with frontend testing (unit and integration tests).
- Familiarity with frontend observability and monitoring tools.
- Ability to operate in critical environments, with a focus on stability and user experience.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
