Job Description
Senior Sales Manager leading eight Account Executives selling Muck Rack’s AI-powered PR communications platform. Coaching mid-market SaaS sales, pipeline, forecasting, and team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of 8 Account Executives
- Own team quota attainment while coaching, inspiring, and motivating individuals
- Lead and scale a high-velocity sales team
- Elevate deal size and complexity by coaching reps to expand use cases, multi-thread, engage senior stakeholders, and pursue strategic deals
- Scale pipeline and revenue while moving the business up-market
- Own pipeline health and forecast accuracy through weekly inspection, deal narratives, and CRM hygiene
- Use Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach to identify trends, mitigate risk, and surface opportunities
- Communicate goals, expectations, and feedback and hold the team accountable to KPIs
- Run weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, forecast calls, Gong call coaching, and team syncs
- Conduct structured coaching and deal inspection focused on discovery, qualification, deal strategy, and account progression
- Hire, onboard, and develop new team members
- Execute and evolve sales strategy with Sales Leadership, RevOps, and Enablement
- Join prospect conversations strategically to coach, inspect deal quality, and influence outcomes
- Build expertise in the PR industry, PR software landscape, and Muck Rack’s value proposition
- Meet success measures including quota attainment, pipeline generation, win rate, ACV, pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, process adherence, and leadership feedback
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Hands-on SaaS sales experience in a closing role
- Clear transition from individual contributor to people leader
- Strong command of pipeline management and forecasting
- Experience with Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Slack, and Zoom or equivalent tools
- Ability to drive predictable sales outcomes through CRM rigor and data analysis
- Ability to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback clearly and confidently
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations professionally in a remote-first environment
- Coaching and people development skills across discovery, qualification, deal strategy, negotiation, and account progression
- Track record of using sales data to identify trends, surface risk, prioritize actions, and follow through
- Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed
- Willingness to incorporate AI tools into day-to-day work
