Job Description
Senior Security Analyst at Flock improving security operations for a safety technology platform. Responsible for defending data, automating responses, and enhancing cloud security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a cornerstone of our Security Operations.
- Focus on defending the data that helps solve crimes and save lives.
- Mature our detection pipeline, automate response capabilities, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Sit at the intersection of engineering and operations to enhance security posture.
- Reduce MTTR and automate manual security workflows.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in Security Operations or Incident Response.
- Advanced Incident Investigation: Lead deep-dive investigations into complex security incidents escalated from Tier 1, utilizing SIEM, EDR, and Cloud telemetry to determine scope and impact.
- Containment & Remediation: Execute immediate containment strategies (e.g., host isolation, account resets, firewall blocks).
- Post-Incident Analysis: Author comprehensive After Action Reports (AARs).
- Mentorship: A passion for raising the bar for the entire team by mentoring junior analysts.
- Cloud Defender: Deep technical expertise in cloud security services across a multi-cloud environment.
- Detection Engineering: Extensive experience building and tuning high-fidelity alerts in modern SIEMs.
- Automation First: Strong proficiency in Python or Go to build "security-as-code" tools.
