Job Description
Senior software developer leading Salesforce application architecture, delivery, and technical teams. Building technology solutions for CDW’s business, government, education, and healthcare customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all stages of the software development life cycle
- Self-manage activities on smaller projects and serve as technical lead on small, medium, and large projects
- Determine operating requirements, costs, and resource needs for assigned projects
- Work with project managers on initiatives
- Participate in application architecture planning and framework design
- Develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and user interface prototypes
- Develop detailed design specifications for technical teams
- Develop system test plans, ensure SQA standards, and validate business goals
- Develop project estimates covering resource allocation, timelines, and budget
- Develop applications to CDW coding standards and quality requirements
- Identify and resolve issues based on business problems
- Make technical decisions aligned with product roadmaps, architecture standards, and management direction
- Coach, mentor, and monitor junior team members
- Direct and focus technical project team efforts
- Complete projects and tasks on time according to stakeholder and management commitments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years Development experience, OR 11 years total Information Technology experience including 7 years of Development experience
- Knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX, Force.com APIs, Web Services, and Experience Builder
- Experience with source control systems such as Azure DevOps and Git
- Experience delivering solutions in Agile methodology in a CI/CD environment
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to build rapport and maintain productive cross-departmental and cross-functional relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated success in facilitation and solutions implementation
- Proven track record of leading application development projects
- Ability to balance competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines
- Customer-facing skills, including technical briefings and demonstrations
- Ability to perform code reviews and recommend automated review tools
- Experience in Agile SAFe Framework, a plus
- Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations, a plus
- Experience with Salesforce / FinancialForce PSA GovCloud, a plus
- Ability to optimize and tune system performance, a plus
