Job Description
Senior Software Developer building complex Salesforce applications for CDW, a Fortune 500 technology solutions provider. Leading architecture, development, testing, and technical project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all stages of the software development life cycle
- Self-manage activities on smaller projects and serve as technical lead on small, medium, and large projects
- Determine operating requirements, costs, and resource needs for assigned projects with project managers
- Participate in application architecture planning, including framework design
- Develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and user interface prototypes
- Develop detailed design specifications for technical teams
- Develop system test plans, ensure SQA standards, and validate business goals
- Develop project estimates covering resource allocation, timelines, and budgets
- Develop applications according to CDW coding standards and quality requirements
- Identify and resolve issues based on the underlying business problem
- Make technical decisions aligned with product roadmaps, architecture standards, and management direction
- Coach, mentor, and monitor junior team members
- Direct and focus technical project team efforts
- Complete projects and tasks according to stakeholder and management commitments
- Report project and task status during daily scrums to agile teams, product owners, and product managers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of application development experience, or 9 years of application development experience
- Knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX, Force.com APIs, Web Services, and Experience Builder
- Experience delivering solutions in Agile methodology in a CI/CD environment
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to build rapport and maintain productive cross-departmental and cross-functional working relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and creative problem-solving skills with critical attention to detail
- Demonstrated success in facilitation and solutions implementation
- Proven track record of leading application development projects
- Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs while meeting deadlines
- Excellent customer-facing skills, including conducting technical briefings and demonstrations
- Ability to perform effective code reviews and recommend automated review tools
- Experience in Agile SAFe Framework is a plus
- Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations with multiple instances is a plus
- Ability to assess system performance requirements and lead optimization/tuning is a plus
