Job Description
Senior Software Engineer applying AI-first development to build scalable cloud-native enterprise software for CI&T. Collaborating across engineering teams and mentoring developers while improving delivery, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Build modern, scalable software while leveraging Artificial Intelligence to improve engineering productivity
- Embrace AI-first software development and automate repetitive engineering tasks
- Take end-to-end ownership of services
- Deliver cloud-native enterprise applications
- Use AI to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, automate engineering workflows, and increase developer productivity
- Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore engineering teams
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design sessions
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting engineering excellence and AI adoption
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java and Python
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
- Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Experience with Git, automated testing frameworks, and Agile software development
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
