Job Description
Senior Software Engineer developing hedge accounting features for financial institutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software tools for accounting workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain hedge accounting features supporting effectiveness assessment
- Collaborate with Product and Delivery on user stories, sprint planning, and supporting documentation
- Gather and incorporate client feedback directly
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Contribute to a high standard of engineering craft on the team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Familiarity with accounting concepts and financial workflows
- Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language
- Experience designing and building features that span frontend and backend layers
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using xUnit or similar frameworks
- Database design and development experience across relational and non-relational systems
- B.S. in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or equivalent practical experience
