Job Description
Software Engineer developing backend solutions for Sicredi, ensuring security and reliability in exchange operations. Collaborating with diverse teams to innovate and improve technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust, scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, from design to production delivery
- Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automation and continuous quality
- Create and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure reliability
- Integrate and manage relational databases, and work with Kafka and Kafka Connect
- Work with JPA/Hibernate and Kubernetes for application orchestration
- Ensure observability through metrics, logs and monitoring
- Apply best practices for resilience, fault tolerance and high availability
- Collaborate with other teams to promote technical alignment and clear communication
- Propose innovative solutions for technical and business challenges
- Document architectures and technical decisions
- Support the technical growth of other engineers
- Seek continuous feedback and act in a collaborative and proactive manner
Requirements:
- Solid experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with relational databases
- Consistent practice in unit, integration and E2E testing
- Knowledge of Kafka / Kafka Connectors
- Experience with Maven and/or Gradle
- Experience with JPA / Hibernate
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to make technical decisions considering overall impact
- Knowledge of NoSQL and in-memory databases
- Experience in backend application architecture
- Knowledge of secure application design
- Advanced experience in CI/CD
- Ability to document architectures (diagrams and technical drawings)
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience mentoring and developing other engineers
- Cooperative, proactive profile oriented to continuous improvement
