Job Description
Senior Software Engineer building Java Spring Boot microservices for Infios’s supply chain software. Developing OMS, inventory, fulfillment, and enterprise retail solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop cloud-native microservices powering enterprise retail Order Management, Inventory Visibility, Available-to-Promise, Promising, and Fulfillment systems
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
- Build REST APIs and backend services for enterprise Order Management and Supply Chain applications
- Implement new product features and resolve production issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and senior engineers
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Build configurable product capabilities for multiple enterprise customers
- Follow CI/CD, automated testing, and secure software development practices
- Use AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and productivity
- Contribute to code generation, refactoring, troubleshooting, unit testing, understanding unfamiliar codebases, technical documentation, and learning technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles
- Experience with SQL and/or MongoDB
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of the daily development workflow
- Able to validate AI-generated code and maintain accountability for delivered work
