Job Description

Senior Software Engineer building scalable cloud-native .NET APIs for OPENLANE’s digital used-vehicle marketplace. Leading architecture, testing, and core platform development across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance core offerings continuously
  • Lead technical discussions on software architecture and testing to maintain quality and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct and maintain high-value core system components across multiple technology stacks
  • Build scalable, cloud-native APIs with .NET
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure strong unit and functional test coverage
  • Mentor and support team members through process and technical leadership
  • Apply application development, front-end JavaScript, telemetry, and performance-tuning expertise

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of experience building scalable, cloud-native APIs with .NET
  • University degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering-related discipline, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with telemetry and performance tuning leveraging modern APM tooling
  • Strong understanding of application development, including development and testing methodologies
  • Experience with .NET Core
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Kubernetes in AWS
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry
  • Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with code reviews and high unit and functional test coverage
