Job Description
Senior Software Engineer building and orchestrating Azure cloud infrastructure for OneStream’s unified AI-powered enterprise finance platform. Leading design, coding standards, mentoring, and application reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions supporting management and orchestration of OneStream’s cloud hosting infrastructure
- Lead design discussions and planning
- Define complex design requirements for major features and new solutions
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members
- Review code for security best practices, coding standards, and release acceptance criteria
- Participate in developing coding standards
- Support onboarding of new hires
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Suggest solutions that improve usability and customer experience
- Drive requirements discussions based on value delivered to internal and external customers
- Report to the Manager, Cloud Development and interact with engineering teams
- Lead a focused group of engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
- 7+ years of programming experience
- Azure Certified Developer Associate certification
- Azure Certified Architect Expert certification
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Ability to write reusable libraries
- Familiarity with design and architectural patterns
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Experience troubleshooting errors, analyzing log data, and developing resolutions
- Understanding of cloud concepts including elasticity, security, and identity management
- Experience with C#, PowerShell, VB .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and Atlassian Jira
- Experience with Azure Functions, Container Apps, Batch, and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, and table, queue, and blob storage
- Experience with Azure Application Insights and Dynatrace
- Experience with Blazor, Angular, and React
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to research software-related issues and products
- Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact comfortably with C-level executives
- Must be legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship
