Job Description
Senior Solution Architect responsible for creating IP/MPLS architectures for large service providers. Involves network automation, design consistency, and high availability solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Advising our service-provider clients on the further development of their networks
- Developing solution concepts for IP-/MPLS-based networks and services and documenting them in High-Level and Low-Level Designs
- Automating operational processes in complex network environments
- Testing and implementing concepts and detailed solutions
- Preparing and delivering training sessions and workshops
- Providing technical guidance to team members within projects
- Presenting our solutions to management and technical teams
- Participation in remote on-call duties
Requirements:
- Degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent qualification through practical experience, plus vendor certifications (Juniper, Nokia)
- Several years of practical experience in planning and implementing carrier networks
- Strong (ideally certified) knowledge of Juniper or Nokia technologies and network automation
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
- Team player, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills
- Fluent German and good command of English
