Job Description
Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager overseeing contract management and supplier relationships across multiple departments. Engaging extensively with leadership to optimize expenditure strategies.
Responsibilities:
- oversee and administer a variety of strategic sourcing endeavors for multiple departments
- lead communication efforts to negotiate agreements with external stakeholders/suppliers
- establish all contractual controls and monitor supplier compliance
- develop comprehensive strategies for each category of expenditure
- conduct risk analyses to identify potential threats to the company
- nurture strong working relationships with department and business unit leadership
- collaborate closely with leadership to develop comprehensive project plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, accounting, or supply chain
- 8 + years of work-related experience required
- experience in procurement/strategic sourcing
- preference for candidates who have served as Category Managers
- preference for candidates who have achieved the CPSM certification from the Institute for Supply Management (or equivalent)
- candidates who can showcase tangible achievements as an Analyst may also be considered.
