Job Description
Surveyor coordinating accurate marine survey operations for Boskalis’ dredging and offshore energy projects. Working with multibeam, GNSS and advanced survey software aboard vessels and project sites.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform survey activities onboard vessels and project sites
- Coordinate survey operations and potentially lead the survey team
- Deliver accurate survey data and project deliverables
- Act as a key point of contact between the survey team, vessel or project management, and the client
- Support and mentor less experienced surveyors
- Maintain high safety and quality standards
- Work with advanced survey technologies and software
- Support dredging, offshore energy, and marine infrastructure projects
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in offshore, hydrographic, dredging or marine surveying
- Experience with industry-standard survey software such as Qinsy, BeamworX or EIVA
- Practical experience with multibeam, GNSS, acoustic positioning and survey data processing
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English, minimum B2 level
- EU passport due to project locations and visa requirements
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe, Middle East and Far East
- Willingness to work on a rotation schedule: 1:1 for offshore and 6:4 for land-based projects
