Job Description
SysAdmin/DBA sênior administrando servidores Linux, bancos Oracle e infraestrutura crítica. Garantindo alta disponibilidade, segurança, automação e desempenho em operação remota no Brasil.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Linux servers in critical, high-availability environments
- Administer virtualized environments using KVM, Proxmox, and VMware
- Perform diagnostics, analysis, and performance tuning of servers, virtualization, storage, and systems
- Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases
- Ensure security, backup, recovery, and business continuity policies for the environments
- Monitor logs, perform updates, apply patches, and remediate vulnerabilities
- Administer and configure storage solutions, including EMC VNX and HP 3PAR
- Support the planning and implementation of benchmarks, performance tests, capacity planning, and infrastructure blueprints
- Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues through structured troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain automation routines using scripts and management tools
- Provide remote support and collaborate with development, database, network, and other infrastructure teams
- Evaluate and use AI tools and agents for automation, diagnostics, observability, and optimization of operational activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience administering Linux servers (5+ years)
- Experience administering virtualized environments, preferably with KVM, Proxmox, and/or VMware
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases (5+ years)
- Experience with troubleshooting, log analysis, and server and infrastructure monitoring
- Knowledge of backup, restore, security, and environment recovery procedures
- Experience with storage and SAN, volume, LUN, and multipathing concepts
- Experience or interest in using generative AI and AI agents for infrastructure administration and automation
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate technical issues clearly and objectively
- Experience working in high-availability and clustered environments
- Intermediate English proficiency for reading, writing, and conversation
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience as a System Administrator and Database Administrator
- Knowledge of automation scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, etc.)
