Job Description
Linux Administrator/Consultant für anspruchsvolle Kundenumgebungen bei Pont Connects e.K. Vollständig remote innerhalb der DACH-Region, mit Kundenberatung und Linux-Administration.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support sophisticated Linux environments
- Advise customers on technical matters
- Support the team in working with a long-standing customer
- Structure requirements and present technical concepts clearly for different target audiences
- Take responsibility and work independently
- Prepare effort estimates and contribute to proposal processes
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
- Several years of experience in technically complex customer projects, ideally as a Consultant, Technical Lead, Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect
- Proficient administration of Linux servers
- Strong knowledge of networking, DNS, Active Directory, LDAP, containerization (Docker), APIs, and Single Sign-On
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Ability to structure requirements clearly and present technical concepts in an understandable way to different target audiences
- Independent, responsible approach to work and strong consulting skills
- Experience with Kubernetes is desirable
- Experience with Keycloak, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or ADFS
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI
- Experience with effort estimation and proposal processes
- German language skills are suggested by the German-language job posting but are not explicitly stated as a requirement
