Job Description

Senior System Administrator managing Microsoft 365 and enterprise level applications at Equisoft. Collaborating with IT teams to ensure system optimization and user adoption across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and proactive administration for Microsoft 365 and a wide variety of enterprise applications.
  • Champion Microsoft 365 based solutions embracing new functionality and increasing user adoption.
  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-level applications to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure proper integration and interoperability of various applications within the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related incidents in a timely manner.
  • Interact with Level 1 and Level 2 technicians providing support and guidance on difficult issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Schedule and execute software updates, patches, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Champion technological innovation by maintaining expertise in new features and capabilities of enterprise systems while actively identifying and promoting opportunities to leverage new functionality that adds business value and improves business processes.

Requirements:

  • Technical Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and 10 years in IT
  • Microsoft 365 certification, with significant experience delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge in Identity and Access Management, Entra ID, group policy, certificate management, Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Advanced scripting and automation capabilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Complex system integration experience.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Voice Communications, Teams phone in Microsoft 365 and VOIP.
  • Experience of producing high-quality documentation and user guides for the wider business.
  • Experience in undertaking business impact assessments for major updates, as well as analyzing complex technical issues and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Security best practices expertise
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of Spanish or French (spoken and written) (asset)
  • Must be available for an on-call schedule. (one weekend every month)
