Job Description
Senior Technical Integration Specialist integrating clinical and claims data for Guidehealth’s AI-powered, value-based healthcare platform. Managing healthcare vendor implementations, data QA, integrations, and go-live delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical point of contact for external and internal stakeholders during onboarding and implementation
- Manage, coordinate, and execute data integration and technical integration projects
- Work on EMR integrations, third-party vendor integrations, data retrievals, API connections, and SFTP data feeds
- Facilitate discussions between internal and external technical and business stakeholders
- Design, document, and present data flow diagrams
- Project-manage integrations to ensure successful delivery
- Translate clinical and operational requirements into technical configurations and workflows
- Create and maintain technical specifications, workflow and process diagrams, implementation guides, and SOPs
- Perform data QA and validation through scripts and manual checks for format, completeness, and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with engineering, vendor, and client teams
- Manage go-live planning, execution, maintenance, and post-implementation support
- Support onboarding of clinical data from new practices and claims data from new payers
- Manage technical implementation projects with healthcare vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or Statistics, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in technical implementation, data integration, or data analytics in the healthcare industry
- Working knowledge of healthcare data formats and standards, including HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, and JSON
- Familiarity with clinical vocabularies and coding systems, including CPT, ICD-10, SNOMED, NPI, and RXNORM
- Extensive experience with ETL pipelines, data normalization/processing, SFTP, and API connections
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with data QA and validation processes
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Bash
- Proven experience leading technical implementation projects in healthcare, including client or vendor onboarding
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Understanding of healthcare workflows, including care management, risk adjustment, quality improvement, revenue cycle, prior authorizations, and value-based care
- Strong communication and presentation skills for clinical and technical stakeholders
- Fluency in SQL
- Fluency in Python
- Experience with AWS
- Experience building API endpoints for data transfer
- Familiarity with the Arcadia Analytics Foundry database schema
- Experience using source control software such as GitHub, CVS, or Subversion throughout a software development lifecycle for production
- Ability to work during stated working hours and maintain internet service of at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Must follow security policies and procedures protecting PHI, PII, and company intellectual property
