Job Description
Senior Technical Program Manager driving complex engineering initiatives across the platform and product organization at LaunchDarkly. Responsible for optimizing processes and ensuring effective communication.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the end-to-end execution of large, complex technical programs
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design leadership to define program scope and objectives
- Implement, refine, and champion lightweight program management best practices
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate program risks and dependencies
- Serve as the central communication hub, providing regular status updates
- Facilitate effective decision-making and alignment among diverse teams
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar role
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex software engineering projects, particularly in a SaaS, cloud-native, or distributed systems environment
- Deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with engineering teams
- Proficiency with program and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Google Workspace)
