Job Description
Senior Technology Architect in cybersecurity providing innovative solutions for TELUS. Engaging with stakeholders to enhance security and compliance in proposals and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and provide tailored advice on contractual terms in requests for proposals and on cybersecurity best practices across our service portfolio
- Identify stakeholders across the service portfolio who are impacted by requests for proposals
- Provide specific, proactive recommendations for the implementation of cybersecurity controls and procedures to internal and external stakeholders
- Determine, implement, maintain, and update critical security controls to enhance the overall security posture for RFP programs
- Lead gap assessments, risk assessments, internal audits, compliance readiness activities, and compliance control functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Security
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken (non-negotiable)
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM from recognized security organizations such as SANS, ISC2, and ISACA
- At least 5 years of consulting experience in information security, compliance, or audit
- 5+ years of experience managing IT security (system imaging, logs, technical documentation)
