Job Description
Senior Transportation Designer at Olsson playing a key role in transportation project design and delivery. Collaborating with engineers to develop and enhance roadway designs for infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Take ownership of roadway design and production tasks from concept through construction.
- Apply advanced CAD and design skills to develop roadway layouts, alignments, profiles, typical sections, and construction documents.
- Work closely with engineering staff to translate design concepts into clear, accurate, and constructible plans.
- Coordinate design elements across disciplines, resolve design challenges, and proactively identify potential issues.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in drafting or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience using Civil 3D on roadway or transportation projects.
