Job Description

Energy intern supporting project documentation, field coordination, and construction execution. Knobelsdorff delivers automation, electrical, energy, and power services.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside and take direction from the Project Management team
  • Oversee and monitor project-level documentation according to Knobelsdorff standards
  • Assist with job reporting, crew timecard entry, inspection documents, material delivery and inventory, and project closeout documents
  • Create, prepare, and coordinate reports, trackers, deliverables, and status reports
  • Organize and maintain construction storage containers, tools, and materials
  • Assist field personnel on site as needed
  • Attend tailgate meetings covering jobsite hazards, JHA completion, daily objectives, and best practices
  • Assist with preconstruction preparation and coordination
  • Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and site leadership to support daily project execution
  • Support site needs during occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work as required by project schedules

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Ability to travel nationwide to the designated job site
  • Valid driver’s license with a history of safe and competent driving
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to dig and back-fill trenches
