Job Description

SOC Architect designing IT/OT security operations for Softeta’s energy-sector client. Developing monitoring, architecture roadmaps, resilience capabilities, and compliance standards for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Security Operations Center (SOC) architecture for IT and OT environments across energy generation, transmission, and distribution assets.
  • Develop and maintain security monitoring strategy across enterprise, cloud, and industrial control systems.
  • Design and optimize security log management, telemetry collection, and data onboarding from enterprise and industrial environments.
  • Define SOC architecture roadmaps, technology standards, and reference architectures supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • Lead security tool evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and vendor selection processes.
  • Develop architecture documentation, security standards, implementation guidelines, and executive-level reporting.
  • Support cyber resilience initiatives by integrating incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including NIS2 and IEC 62443.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including extensive experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) architecture and security engineering.
  • Experience with industrial automation (PLC, SAS, OT General).
  • Strong understanding of IT and OT cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience defining and delivering complex SoC or ASIC architectures from concept to production.
  • Practical knowledge of IEC 62443.
  • Ability to translate business and operational requirements into scalable security architectures and technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with protocol analysis and system hardening.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across organizations.
  • Fluent English.
