Job Description
Speech-Language Pathologist providing in-home neurological rehabilitation for Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners. Evaluating and treating speech, cognitive, swallowing, and communication impairments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language, executive functioning, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentative communication
- Create and implement integrated treatment plans as part of interdisciplinary teams
- Use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals
- Build patients’ skills and support durable outcomes across the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness
Requirements:
- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure is required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA is required
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
- Work in San Gabriel, CA and surrounding areas
- PRN availability
