Job Description

Staff Accountant managing financial compliance and statements for Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. Collaborating across departments while ensuring regulatory adherence and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a variety of departments at the company to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Perform account management duties.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Perform bank account reconciliations.
  • Maintain loan schedules.
  • Code for accounts payable.
  • Maintain accounts receivable schedules.

Requirements:

  • A fire and passion for working with seniors
  • A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required; high proficiency in Excel is a must
  • A minimum of five years of general ledger accounting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to consistently meet hard deadlines
  • Must possess a commitment to client support
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
