Job Description
Staff Product Manager driving core experience improvements for Freddie at PurposeMed. Focusing on data-driven insights to enhance patient experiences and retention strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Owning the activation funnel from onboarding initiated through consult booking and owning the questionnaire portion of the refill experience, designing friction‑free, “aha!”‑driven experiences
- Identifying, optimizing, and accelerating patients’ moments of value via high‑tempo A/B and multivariate testing
- Instrumenting funnel analytics, establishing benchmarks, and communicating learnings that influence our roadmap and resourcing
- Developing and scaling retention and churn‑prevention programs that protect and grow patient volumes and impact
- Leading ongoing measurement of activation and retention, sharing insights in weekly business performance meetings
- Contributing to PurposeMed’s Voice of the Customer (VoC) program—planning research, synthesising qualitative insights and advocating for patient‑centred product improvements in collaboration with our design and research teams
- Serving as the leader for all Core Experience product-led initiatives, aligning with Marketing, Operations, Clinical, Design, and Data around shared OKRs
- Actively sharing input and feedback to other members of the Core Experience team; championing a culture of hypothesis‑driven experimentation, radical candour, and continuous learning
- Representing Product in core experience updates, translating complex data into concise, actionable narratives
- Collaborating with Design and Technology leadership closely on practices and roadmap alignment of core experience efforts in the context of wider change and new service launches
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in product growth or product management for B2C or B2B2C digital products
- A proven track record of owning activation and retention metrics at scale and delivering double‑digit percentage improvements
- Hands-on expertise with product analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Preset, LaunchDarkly), experimentation frameworks, and SQL; comfortable building dashboards and financial models
- Deep understanding of A/B testing, cohort analysis, customer segmentation, and growth frameworks
- Demonstrated the ability to translate user insights and quantitative data into product bets that drive LTV/CAC uplift
- Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑influencing skills; able to inspire cross‑functional teams without formal authority
- Empathy for patients and clinicians and a commitment to delivering equitable, impactful healthcare
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to zoom from high‑level vision to detailed technical requirements
- Experience in operations, customer success, or marketing in a high-growth environment
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks (PHIPA, HIPAA, PIPEDA) and data‑privacy best practices
- Experience with CRM/marketing automation (Braze) and lifecycle workflows
- A strong understanding of subscription and usage‑based business models and monetisation levers
- Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry
