Job Description
Strategic Sourcing Contracts Manager at RSM, leading vendor sourcing negotiations for a finance team. Collaborating with partners and internal functions on contract management and negotiation tactics.
Responsibilities:
- leading and executing vendor sourcing negotiations for projects and purchases
- perform review, redlining and negotiation of vendor contracts
- lead vendor negotiations ensuring information security and privacy due diligence is conducted
- leverage legal expertise to perform legal review of contracts
- interact with RSM leaders to ensure contract language meets operational objectives
- coach LOB and functional leaders on negotiation tactics
- assist LOB and functional leaders in contract interpretation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent through a combination of education or work experience
- strong analytical and contract negotiation skills
- strong price analysis and modeling skills
- contract redlining skills
- basic knowledge of Excel, Word and word processing
- 3-5 years strategic sourcing experience
- 3 years project management experience
- Experience leading negotiation of vendor agreements
- Knowledge of information technology concepts
- Knowledge of privacy concepts
- Preferred – legal degree
- Preferred – master’s degree
