Job Description
L3Harris subcontracts specialist managing government procurements and FAR/DFAR supplier contracts. Negotiating high-dollar sole-source agreements and supporting direct programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex procurements, projects, and processes under general supervision
- Perform procurement activities for materials, components, and services at competitive prices meeting schedule, safety, and quality standards
- Perform price/cost analysis
- Provide proposal support
- Issue supplier contracts supporting direct programs above the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal guidance
- Apply FAR/DFAR requirements
- Negotiate multi-million-dollar sole-source supplier contracts
- Manage high-dollar FAR/DFAR subcontracts supporting Government programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Contracts experience, or graduate degree and minimum 2 years of prior related Contracts experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of prior related Contracts experience
- 2 years of government buying experience
- Strong expertise in supply chain and procurement
- Broad project management experience
- Extensive experience managing high-dollar FAR/DFAR subcontracts supporting Government programs
- Strong background negotiating multi-million-dollar sole-source supplier contracts
- Experience working with FAR/DFAR requirements
- Ability to issue supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal guidance
