Job Description
Project Manager overseeing several client-based projects and design teams while implementing business strategies. Responsible for excellence in project delivery and effective team management.
Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager is responsible for managing several client-based projects or company initiatives simultaneously.
- Oversee design teams and directly manage associate project managers, schedulers, and project coordinators.
- Acts as a conduit to the Chief Operating Officer, Leadership Team, Director(s) and Portfolio manager when developing, monitoring, or reporting on the implementation of strategic approaches within the overall projects being managed.
- Provides input, and supporting data, to the Directors and Leadership teams to make strategic business decisions.
- Provides direction, process and data to project teams and direct reports to win support for the Company's strategic business plan.
- Supports the implementation of objectives, policies, and procedures, with the ability to course correct to exploit additional opportunities or mitigate to correct a lack of success.
- Manages the performance of individual projects, project teams, and direct reports through goal setting and frequent group meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, construction management, or related field, preferred.
- A mix of education and additional experience is acceptable in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
- 5-7 years of design experience in Power Delivery projects.
- 2-3 years of project management experience in Transmission Line or Substations.
- PMP Certification, preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Platforms (Project, Word, Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint) preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 preferred.
- Proficiency in Deltek software (VantagePoint) preferred.
