Job Description
Systems Administrator resolving complex desktop, server, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues. Supporting Helion’s managed IT and cybersecurity services for automotive dealerships.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve highly complex desktop- and server-level issues
- Identify and resolve chronic service desk issues through the problem management process
- Assist outsourced field personnel with PC, printer, and connectivity issues at client sites
- Monitor and troubleshoot PRTG alerts and disk failures
- Assist Project Management and Account Management teams in gathering audit information from Active Directory and Exchange
- Participate in the Saturday Tier 2 technician on-call rotation
- Manage phone calls and tickets, including dispatching and prioritization for desktop technicians
- Provide overflow support for emergency issues on Saturdays
- Be available for urgent escalated desktop issues
- Provide technical guidance to lower-tier desktop technicians
- Support Helion’s managed IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and technology enablement services for automotive and heavy truck dealerships
Requirements:
- Advanced technical knowledge for highly complex desktop- and server-level issues
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS/UNC file shares, Group Policy, Folder Redirection/OneDrive, printers, Microsoft Exchange/Microsoft 365, Barracuda email spam filtering, SSL certificates, Cisco/Meraki networking, PRTG, VMware/Hyper-V, Kaseya RMM, DNS-based web filtering, dealer management systems, web browsers, VPNs, CRM systems, and body shop software
- Knowledge of PowerShell and Microsoft 365 GUI for Exchange reporting
- Ability to configure Meraki VPN and AnyConnect
- Ability to install Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, CCC One, Rome + RomeScan, and configure related permissions and integrations
- CCENT or CompTIA Network+ certification
