Job Description
Talent Acquisition Specialist managing high-volume recruitment for Avis, Budget, and Apex across Australia. Partnering with leaders on sourcing, interviews, offers, and candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process for Avis, Budget, and Apex within Australia
- Partner with business leaders to hire talent for operational needs
- Use the applicant tracking system to manage applicant statuses in real time and meet compliance measures
- Review and pre-select applicants against role requirements before interview
- Coordinate face-to-face and virtual interviews and request feedback/status updates
- Disposition applicants, extend offers, schedule start dates, and complete follow-up
- Provide an efficient, high-touch candidate experience throughout application, offer, and pre-employment stages
- Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and provide talent acquisition subject-matter expertise
- Communicate with candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, and stakeholders
- Advertise requisitions through appropriate avenues within departmental budgets
- Educate and upskill line managers on talent acquisition best practices and procedures
- Develop strategic sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles
- Meet recruitment KPIs
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in a recruitment position using an applicant tracking system
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Expertise recruiting end to end for a wide range of roles, from operational, front line to management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the business up to Senior Leadership
- Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative ways to attract and source talent
- Based in either Mascot, Sydney, or Brisbane
- Experience working in an in-house or agency recruitment background
- Highly organised and experienced in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment
