Job Description

Talent Sourcing & Placement Officer connecting GUS education students with apprenticeship employers. Managing sourcing, candidate placement, employer partnerships, enrolment files, and apprenticeship contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the commercial strategy for recruiting prospective students for GUS France
  • Develop, manage, and strengthen employer relationships to secure apprenticeship and work-study placements
  • Advise employers on recruitment needs and facilitate connections with prospective students
  • Represent the institution at recruitment events, campus career fairs, and key account initiatives
  • Deliver an outstanding employer experience and maximise partner retention
  • Identify hiring needs and proactively source and recommend suitable candidates
  • Resolve partnership and placement-related issues
  • Contribute to Apprenticeship Tax and corporate philanthropy fundraising campaigns
  • Achieve annual enrolment targets for apprenticeship and work-study programmes
  • Identify, assess, and shortlist candidates for employer partners
  • Ensure placements comply with apprenticeship regulations and contractual requirements
  • Negotiate training fees and achieve agreed commercial terms
  • Prepare and manage apprenticeship enrolment files and submit documentation for contract preparation
  • Coordinate relationships between the institution, apprentice, and employer throughout the programme
  • Serve as the primary contact for employers and apprentices during the apprenticeship programme

Requirements:

  • Weekend availability for promotional events
  • Full driving licence (Category B)
  • Master’s level (M1 or M2) in Marketing, Communication, Sales, or Business School
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong understanding of the local environment and apprenticeship/work-study regulations
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and commercial techniques
  • Strong organization skills, rigour, persistence, and persuasive abilities
  • Highly responsive, dynamic, and proactive mindset
  • Strong analytical, adaptability, and active listening skills
  • Ability to manage stress and perform under pressure
  • Positive attitude with strong perseverance
  • Excellent personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative approach
