Job Description
SAFE/ServiceNow Technical Architect designing enterprise ServiceNow solutions for CGI’s U.S. federal consulting business. Guiding Agile teams across architecture, integrations, automation, governance, and platform strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Apply SAFe principles to plan, design, and deliver scalable platform capabilities
- Lead technical discovery, requirements analysis, and solution design sessions with product owners, stakeholders, and developers
- Develop and maintain architectural standards, integration patterns, data models, and governance frameworks
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in workflow design, scripting, configurations, REST/SOAP integrations, CMDB modeling, and automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Guide Agile teams during PI Planning, solutioning, sprint execution, backlog grooming, and technical decision-making
- Ensure platform health, performance, security, compliance, and upgrade readiness
- Mentor developers, conduct technical reviews, and enforce best practices
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and cross-functional groups to align ServiceNow strategy with organizational roadmaps
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and adoption of emerging ServiceNow capabilities including AI, Virtual Agent, and Workspace
Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions
- Deep understanding of SAFe or other Agile frameworks
- Experience participating in PI Planning and Agile ceremonies
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow scripting, integration patterns, and platform architecture
- Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, GRC/IRM, or HRSD modules
- ServiceNow certifications strongly preferred, including CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS Discovery, or CIS Service Mapping
- Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to interface with executives and technical teams
- Experience in large enterprise or federal environments is desirable
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, UCD, or SonarQube is desirable
- Hands-on experience with automation, generative AI features, and emerging ServiceNow capabilities is desirable
- Ability to mentor teams, provide architectural governance, and lead technical roadmaps
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must meet applicable U.S. government security-clearance requirements where required
