Technical Product Manager driving product lifecycle for TELUS Agriculture's food safety platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and software quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the dedicated Product Manager to understand, communicate, and continuously refine product requirements
  • Actively management of the product lifecycle across all stages: ideation, conception, development, maintenance, and end-of-life planning
  • Scope and refine product requirements by breaking down complex problems into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Participate in agile ceremonies — including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Serve as a day-to-day liaison between cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Sales
  • Engage directly with customers to elicit detailed product requirements, validate assumptions, and gather actionable feedback
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations to both internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to co-create design requirements
  • Manage and maintain a well-groomed product backlog in JIRA
  • Write clear technical and functional requirements documentation
  • Conduct and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Identify and escalate impediments that hinder delivery progress
  • Track and report on key product delivery metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience in a Technical Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role with hands-on involvement in software product delivery
  • Demonstrated experience with software implementation or development
  • Proficiency in JIRA for backlog management, ticket creation, and sprint tracking
  • Strong ability to write detailed, unambiguous product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience engaging directly with customers to gather requirements, validate solutions, and build trust — including delivering product demonstrations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a bias toward tactical, hands-on delivery and execution
  • Collaborative approach with experience working across cross-functional teams

Benefits:

  • Inclusive culture embracing diversity
  • Fair employment practices
  • Accommodation for applicants with disabilities during recruitment
