Job Description

Technical Product Owner driving healthcare IoT and connected solutions for Siemens Healthineers. Owning roadmaps, integrations, compliance, and delivery across European healthcare operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product roadmap and backlog for healthcare IoT and connected device solutions
  • Translate customer service workflows and field operations needs into product features and technical requirements
  • Align product vision with system architecture in collaboration with Solution Architects
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for engineering teams
  • Prioritize features based on business value, operational impact, and customer experience
  • Drive development of solutions supporting device monitoring, diagnostics, remote support, and service automation
  • Collaborate with customer service, support, and field teams to improve issue resolution and service efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITECH Act in product design
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Validate delivered features through UAT, field feedback, and operational metrics
  • Drive integration with EHR/EMR systems, service platforms, and IoT ecosystems
  • Partner with DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Track and improve KPIs including uptime, response time, MTTR, and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or technical program delivery
  • Strong understanding of healthcare customer service operations, including support workflows, ticketing systems, and field service
  • Hands-on experience or strong understanding of IoT / connected devices and edge-to-cloud architectures
  • Technical background in software development or engineering
  • Experience working with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of NoSQL data stores, such as Elasticsearch, and data-driven applications
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience in healthcare environments, hospital systems, medical devices, or digital health platforms
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and DICOM
  • Experience with service management platforms such as ServiceNow and Salesforce Health Cloud
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and release management
  • Experience with remote device management, telemetry, and diagnostics systems
  • Background in AI/analytics use cases, such as predictive maintenance, support automation, and knowledge systems
