Job Description
Technical Support Engineer providing pre-sales and post-sales support for surveying and construction equipment. Involves installation, troubleshooting, training, and customer support in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers pre- and post-sales
- Perform equipment installation, testing, demonstrations, and troubleshooting
- Deliver customer training and produce German-language manuals, videos, and documentation
- Gather user feedback and coordinate with headquarters for product improvements
- Support setup of local service centers and perform minor equipment repairs
- Assist the Sales Manager with customer visits and product certification tasks
Requirements:
- German national, fluent in German and English
- 3–5 years of technical support / FAE experience with surveying or construction equipment
- Strong hands-on skills and excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to travel regularly for field service
- Valid driver’s license
