Job Description
Vendor Management Analyst responsible for managing customer and backbone telecommunications circuits. Collaborating with sales and engineering to ensure effective order management and vendor accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full lifecycle management of customer and backbone telecommunications circuits
- Work directly with Sales and Sales Engineering to gather technical requirements and identify carrier options
- Solicit and compare carrier quotes
- Present quote comparisons
- Submit carrier orders and manage through entire lifecycle
- Own carrier check-ins on open orders
- Maintain install tracker with milestone visibility
- Serve as an escalation point for installation issues and SLA violations
- Own master circuit inventory database
- Ensure accurate documentation and support renewal strategy planning
- Review carrier contracts for billing accuracy and track renewal windows
Requirements:
- 2+ years telecom circuit ordering/management experience
- Familiarity working with carriers such as AT&T, Lumen, Comcast, Verizon, etc.
- Experience managing LOA/CFA processes
- Strong Excel management skills
- Exceptional vendor management and follow-through skills
- Experience working for an MSP or carrier (preferred)
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or order tracking systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with telecom expense management platforms (preferred)
- Experience reconciling telecom billing (preferred)
