Job Description

Territory Sales Manager driving branch profitability and sales for Motion Industries. Leading regional sales strategy, account growth, customer relationships, and representative coaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Division Vice President in managing the overall success of assigned branches
  • Maximize profitability and generate sales individually and through leadership of others
  • Monitor sales team or branch performance within the region and re-allocate resources to improve results
  • Assist in leading the division's sales strategy and growth plan
  • Supervise sales performance of multiple branches
  • Implement corporate initiatives, policies, and procedures
  • Achieve account sales and profit goals within a defined geographic area
  • Manage strategic and product planning, account management, training, and sales support
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and improve operational effectiveness
  • Develop sales plans and budgets
  • Create action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, or solutions
  • Develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, and presentations; conduct product demonstrations
  • Coach sales representatives on product and service technical aspects, sales techniques, procedures, and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience or the equivalent combination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional level of drive and passion for results
  • Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to coach and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Good driving record required
  • Domestic and international travel required
  • Industry specific certifications preferred
