Job Description
UX Designer working with agile scrum teams to enhance usability for federal government web applications. Collaborating with developers and analysts to refine design components.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a highly collaborative, high-performing agile scrum team
- Collaborate with analysts and developers to refine requirements and propose design components
- Enhance the usability of features for a public-facing suite of federal government web applications
- Participate in all agile ceremonies and serve as the Design SME across multiple cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
- 3+ years' experience as a UX Designer supporting a web-based application
- 3+ years' experience using design tools including AdobeXD, Mural, and Invision to create userflows, prototypes, wireframes, and mockups
- 3+ years' experience developing UX artifacts supporting design research and architecture
- 3+ years' experience conducting user research, testing designs with end users, synthesizing system data, presenting findings to different stakeholder groups, and finding qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate designs
- Strong understanding of business requirements and how they impact design and a user's digital experience
- Experience using Atlassian suite of tools in support of large-scale development in a kanban or scrum environment
