Job Description
Staff Product Designer at Black Airplane leading client engagements and developing AI-enhanced design workflows. Mentoring teams and building design systems within complex client projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex client engagements end-to-end — discovery, strategy, IA, design, prototype, handoff.
- Anticipate and resolve issues that derail design teams.
- Push AI practice forward and share what's working.
- Build durable design systems within complex engagements.
- Participate in pre-sales with accurate estimations and risk assessments.
- Mentor the designers around you and help adopt new tools.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years in product design
- Expert Figma
- Comfortable working close to code
- Real, demonstrable use of AI tooling in your design process
- Excellent communication
- Accurate estimation on complex projects
- Pre-sales experience is a plus.
