Job Description

Vascular Access Sales Specialist selling ICU Medical’s infusion and blood collection products across a remote U.S. territory. Building clinical relationships, conducting product implementations, and driving territory revenue and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain ICU Medical’s Vascular Access & Blood Collection business in the assigned territory
  • Establish and develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Preserve existing business and develop future business opportunities
  • Increase territory profitability and expand the customer base by selling ICU Medical products
  • Extend customer relationships into new areas and acquire new customers
  • Provide ongoing post-sales implementation support
  • Align with the Regional Sales Manager and coordinate daily activities to meet or exceed annual territory revenue objectives
  • Master presentations and technical knowledge of ICU Medical products and relevant industry guidelines
  • Communicate with clinicians about industry guidelines, products, and clinical outcomes
  • Position ICU Medical offerings against competing products clinically and technically
  • Serve as the field-level clinical expert and consultative problem solver for clinical and supply chain contacts
  • Understand the assigned top 50 customer base, contracts, pumps, solutions, and distribution models
  • Conduct product trials and implement products in the Vascular Access and Blood Collection portfolio
  • Maintain knowledge of the market and clinicians through local professional chapters
  • Communicate product performance with Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Meet or exceed organizational performance objectives
  • Work on assigned special projects
  • Work occasional weekends or nights when necessary

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Medical device sales experience and relationships with key regional health systems preferred
  • Experience with needle-free infusion therapy products and services preferred
  • Vascular Access, blood collection, or infusion therapy product background preferred
  • Proven track record of making quota or driving territory growth
  • Experience developing existing customer relationships with Supply Chain
  • Active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, to perform essential duties at customer locations
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and professional; able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with the Authorized Driver Policy
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
