Job Description
Oversee vendor relationships and ensure operational compliance for Sanford Health, a large not-for-profit health system. Collaborate with internal teams and manage vendor contracts to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors ensuring compliance with service agreements.
- Conducts regular evaluations of vendor performance through metrics and audits.
- Assists in the negotiation and renewal of vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms.
- Collaborates with internal teams to identify vendor needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Develops and maintains a database of vendor information and performance metrics.
- Mitigates risks associated with vendor partnerships by implementing monitoring processes.
- Prepares and presents reports on vendor performance and relevant insights to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
- Experience in vendor management or procurement roles, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of managing successful vendor contracts.
