Job Description
Video Producer overseeing the production of video marketing materials at Ciena. Managing projects from briefing to final delivery while collaborating with stakeholders and agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process of video marketing materials
- Act as a champion for video strategy and production standards
- Manage production timelines and oversee the video process from scripting through final delivery
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Support production aspects of video, including both in-house and agency-produced work
- Manage post-production workflows and assign appropriate resources
- Engage with other teams within Ciena’s marketing organization to determine video needs
- Track metrics associated with video projects, including timelines, budgets, roadblocks, and viewership data
Requirements:
- Strong ability to communicate story through video
- Strong script-writing and storyboarding abilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premier and After Effects)
- Familiarity with DSLR cameras and professional video equipment
- Understanding of proper lighting and audio capture techniques
- Organized big-picture thinker
- Capable of handling multiple projects in varying stages simultaneously
- Strong communicator
