Job Description
Virtual Legal Support Assistant drafting pleadings and legal documents remotely for law firm. Requires experience in litigation and proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs.
Responsibilities:
- Draft Shell Pleadings: Answers, Discovery Responses, Captions
- Create Tables of Contents and Authorities using Best Authority
- Document Comparisons & Redlines
- Document Conversions
- Document Revisions
- Bates Numbering using Kofax
- PDF Assembly using Kofax
- Edit PowerPoint Presentations
- Edit Excel Documents
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience drafting pleadings in a law firm setting
- Strength in MS Teams preferred; previous remote work experience preferred
- Advanced skillset using Microsoft Suite Programs (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Preference given to individuals with a basic understanding of litigation workflow.
